The Deanship of Student Affairs at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University organized, on Monday, 26 May 2025, the annual closing ceremony for extracurricular student activities for the academic year 2024–2025. The event aimed to honor the outstanding efforts of female students, encourage positive competition in support of the University’s mission and objectives, and promote effective communication through active participation in various university events and activities. The ceremony program featured a series of diverse segments, most notably the Student Leadership Parade and a visual presentation titled “Flame of Giving”, which highlighted the Deanship’s extracurricular initiatives and activities throughout the previous academic year. The ceremony concluded with an awards segment comprising four main categories: Student Achievements, Student Clubs, Leadership Excellence, and Best Student Activity. In the Student Achievements category, approximately 104 female students were honored for receiving international, regional, and local awards, participating in international committees, and winning the Smouq Program Award. The Student Clubs category included several awards, namely: Gold Club, Silver Club, Bronze Club, Promising Club, Effective Communication Award, and the University Sports Cup. The Leadership Excellence category recognized the Best Club Supervisor, Best Club President, Advisory Council Representative, University Theater Representative, and Nourah Ambassadors. Meanwhile, the Best Student Activity category covered several key tracks, including Skills and Values, Culture and Arts, Health and Lifestyle, Sports and Physical Activity, Volunteering and Social Development, and Technical Excellence. The annual closing ceremony aligns with the Deanship of Student Affairs’ role in achieving Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s Strategic Plan 2025, which aims to provide an enhanced university environment that fosters students’ innovation and creativity skills, and reflects the University’s commitment to investing in students’ potential through extracurricular activities that play a vital role in building both educational and life experiences.
