The Deanship of Student Affairs at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University concluded the Preparatory Camp for the Hajj Season 1446 AH, with the participation of 16 female student scouts. The camp aimed to develop the scouts’ skills and prepare them to provide professional services to pilgrims during the Hajj season. The three-day camp included a range of activities, lectures, workshops, and training courses focused on enhancing the scouts’ ability to handle various situations during Hajj. These included courses on Crowd Management to qualify scouts to organize pilgrim movement, Stress Management to help them cope with challenges, Map Reading to facilitate navigation and guidance, and First Aid to ensure the provision of emergency medical assistance when needed. The preparatory camp concluded with qualification assessments, which evaluated the scouts’ knowledge of all training content, serving as a necessary step to ensure the readiness of the scouting team for final participation in public service Hajj camps. This initiative reflects the Deanship’s efforts to achieve the objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s Strategic Plan 2025, which aims to promote women’s leadership in national development by highlighting students’ talents, enhancing scientific and practical experience, strengthening national belonging, and fostering teamwork and volunteerism.
