College of Computer and Information Sciences Organizes Graduation Projects Ceremony for Undergraduate Students

The College of Computer and Information Sciences at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University organized the undergraduate graduation projects competition ceremony for the academic year 1446 AH, along with the accompanying Career Forum, at the college theater. The event featured more than 90 projects. The competition aimed to showcase graduates’ ideas across specializations including Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science and Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence Sciences. It also highlighted projects and innovations that enhance the competitiveness of graduates and promote a culture of scientific research and innovation in line with Saudi Vision 2030. The ceremony announced the winning projects, with first place awarded to AI-Powered Gamified Rehabilitation System for Pediatric Traumatic Hand Injuries Using Computer Vision. Second place went to Drone Detection in Dual Vision Modalities Using YOLO Models and SAHI Framework. Third place was awarded to SANAD: Proactive Defense for Individuals with Bipolar Disorder Through a Personalized Cyber Protection. Fourth place went to Wadaq – AI-driven Serious Game for ADHD Treatment, and fifth place to AutoReview: An Automated System for Drug Approvals Comparison and Regulatory Compliance at SFDA. The Dean of the College, Dr. Manal Al-Owahli, stated that the college is keen to organize such events to foster innovation and creativity in the digital domain, develop students’ skills according to labor market needs, and provide the nation with competitive competencies that support societal development. The event also included a career forum exhibition connecting students with employers, business incubators, and showcasing innovative technological solutions serving the community. The ceremony honored the sponsoring company, Boeing, along with participating companies. This initiative contributes to achieving Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s Strategic Plan 2025 by providing a supportive environment for innovation and preparing competitive graduates capable of building the future.
