The Deanship of Development and Quality, represented by the Excellence in Teaching and Learning Program at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, organized the second Artificial Intelligence Camp titled “GPT and Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education”, with the participation of specialists and experts in artificial intelligence, as part of its efforts to promote innovation and enhance academic performance. The three-day camp aimed to raise faculty members’ awareness of artificial intelligence in education, enhance their knowledge of generative AI tools, and demonstrate how these tools can be effectively utilized in teaching and learning processes. The camp included a series of training sessions such as “The Journey to the Digital Future: Legal and Ethical Implications of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Societies”, “Six Steps to Create Your Own GPT in Higher Education”, and “Faculty Members in the Age of AI: Smart Tools for Smarter Teaching”. This initiative aligns with the Deanship’s efforts to keep pace with the latest developments in education and supports Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University’s Strategic Plan 2025 through professional development of faculty members, nurturing academic talent, and enhancing excellence in teaching and learning.
