Welcome to the website of the College of Pharmacy at Princess Noura bint Abdulrahman University, which was established following the issuance of the Supreme Decree on 27/9/1428 AH as the first health college in the university. Since then, the college was dedicated to graduate qualified pharmacists who are able to compete locally and internationally in accordance with the highest scientific and professional standards, so they can contribute in serving the society. In line with the university’s vision, the College of Pharmacy seeks to provide accredited academic programs with the aim of raising the quality of educational outcomes to be a competitive college at the local and international levels. The college includes two academic departments, Pharmaceutical Sciences Department and Pharmacy Practice Department, who contribute to enriching the Doctor of Pharmacy program by teaching basic and specialized courses. The college also provides students with the opportunity of field and clinical training in hospitals and various pharmaceutical sectors through concluding local and international agreements and partnerships, with the aim of graduating trained pharmacists capable of achieving leadership in their field. Believing in the importance of practical research and its role in community development, the College of Pharmacy seeks to create a supportive academic environment and encourage distinguished faculty members and students to contribute to research and innovation to ensure scientific and professional excellence.

Dean’s Message •

Welcome to the College of Pharmacy at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University which is proud of being the first health college established in the University in 2008 and Since then, the college has taken the task of graduating pioneered pharmacists who are capable in contributing to the service of society and the development of the country. In line with the University's mission, the College build an ambitious strategy that focuses on a system of excellence in education, scientific research and social impact.

The college primarily focuses on its role in providing academic programs that serve the national need. It seeks to follow the highest standards of education in order to raise the quality of educational outcomes by focusing on following modern medical education methods to be competitive programs at the local and global levels. This is supported by the presence of distinguished faculty members, in addition to other entities within the university such as King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz University Hospital, the Health Sciences Research Centre and the Simulation and Clinical Skills Development Centre, which help enrich the educational experience of our students. The college also provides its students with the opportunity of field and clinical training in hospitals and various sectors of medicine as part of its educational plan in addition to its extracurricular activities, through its relationship with the local community with the aim of integration with the labour market to graduate qualified pharmacists who are aware of their leading role in their field and are able to achieve it.

Believing in the importance of scientific research and innovation and its role in community development, the College of Pharmacy seeks to create an academic climate that is supportive and encouraging for our faculty members and students to conduct advanced research and ensure scientific and professional excellence.

We are also focusing on the social responsibility as one of our goals, as we seek to take a leading role in developing the profession of pharmacy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and to make a positive impact on public health.
