Tasks:

  • Recommending the approval of examination schedules and establishing the necessary organizational procedures for conducting them.

  • Approving the extracurricular activity plan for the college.

  • Establishing admission and transfer criteria for students to and from the college.

  •  Encouraging the conduction of scientific research and and coordinating it among college departments and working on publishing them.

  •  Forming permanent or temporary committees from among its members or others.

  •  Deciding on required matters within its jurisdiction and providing guidance to the university council on other matters.

  • Recommending the appointment of faculty members, teaching assistants and lecturers as well as their secondments, assignments, and promotions.

  • Reviewing matters referred to it by the university council, its president, vice president, or college dean for study and expressing opinions on them.
