​​​​About the Academic Guidance Unit

The unit is responsible for guiding and following up with the student during her studies through continuous dialogue, and it is the one that provides her with advice and assistance until she adapts to university life and understands the mission and objectives of the university. The unit is also concerned with providing the appropriate environment for the student so that she can discover her tendencies and capabilities until she reaches her academic goal that achieves her aspirations in light of her abilities.


Tasks: 

  • Summarizing all the important information from the academic advising guide and the forms related to the advisor's work.

  • Providing the names and university ID numbers of the students assigned to each advisor.

  • Ensuring the academic advisors are present at work daily during the first two weeks of each academic term.

  • Organizing an introductory meeting each academic term for new students.

  • Printing brochures (academic advising guide) and distributing them to students during the introductory meeting, specifically for the health colleges.
