The department qualifies female professionals capable of working in various information technology positions in both the public and private sectors, including but not limited to: Computer Network Management, Information Technology Project Management, Information Technology Software Development and Design, Software Development, Computer Systems Design, Educational and academic fields in public and higher education institutions, Scientific research and training in research and technical training centers.

Nature and Goals of the Program

The specialization aims to graduate students capable of designing, managing, developing, and maintaining information technology systems by applying appropriate computational and mathematical knowledge, as well as implementing and evaluating computer systems. The use of the necessary techniques, skills, and tools for computer applications, and the efficient and effective integration of technical solutions with the user environment, along with a better understanding of practices, procedures, and their applications.

2 Achieve technical and professional competence through practical training, professional certificates, and distinguished co-op training opportunities.
3 Build and develop scientific research and innovation skills.
4 Provide female graduates with leadership and effective communication skills and instilling and strengthening professional ethics.

K1 Demonstrate broad and in-depth knowledge of IT and other relevant disciplines' fundamentals, methods, algorithms, techniques, tools, standards and best practices used in current applications and emerging developments in the IT discipline.
K2 Identify investigation methods, research methodologies and software management principles, techniques and tools used in the development of IT systems.
S1 Design, implement, and evaluate a computing-based solution to meet a given set of computing requirements in the IT discipline.
S2 Analyze a computing problem to apply principles of computing and other relevant disciplines to identify solutions.
S3 Identify and analyze user needs to take them into account in the selection, creation, integration, evaluation, and administration of IT systems.
S4 Communicate effectively in a variety of professional contexts..
V1 Recognize professional responsibilities and make informed judgments in IT computing practice based on legal and ethical principles.
