The College of Computer and Information Sciences, represented by the Artificial Intelligence Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, launched on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, the applied workshop series “AI Peers”, aiming to empower students of the college to exchange knowledge and expertise in the fields of artificial intelligence and its modern applications.
The series is presented by students majoring in Artificial Intelligence, creating an interactive space for peer-to-peer learning and showcasing student-led technical projects and initiatives within a collaborative knowledge framework that promotes a culture of learning from peers.
The series began with a workshop titled “Advanced AI Concepts & Real-World Applications”, presented by students Hareer Alnamasi and Ghaida Alsabti, with the goal of enriching the practical aspects of AI learning, introducing students to the latest AI concepts, and demonstrating how they can be applied to real-world problem-solving across various domains.
The workshops will continue until November 13, featuring hands-on applications and interactive training sessions that enable participants to build models and apply theoretical concepts in a practical learning environment that enhances understanding and real-world experience.
This series is part of the AI Hub community initiatives, supporting the college’s vision to empower students in innovation, develop their technical skills, and strengthen collaboration in a stimulating academic environment.
The AI Peers workshop series also aligns with the strategic plan of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University 2025, which aims to prepare competitive talents, build an integrated ecosystem for research, innovation, and entrepreneurship, and promote women’s leadership in national development.
