The Innovation Center at the College of Computer and Information Sciences Launches the “Game Development Using Unity Engine” Bootcamp

The Innovation Center at the College of Computer and Information Sciences at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University has launched the “Game Development Using Unity Engine” bootcamp, with the participation of 30 students, held at the college’s campus. The bootcamp, which runs until September 18, 2025, aims to enhance students’ skills in game development and virtual reality (VR) experience design, in addition to introducing them to emerging technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT). The program provides an interactive learning environment that enables students to acquire knowledge, exchange ideas, and develop professional-level projects—helping them showcase their capabilities in the technological job market. Participants will also receive accredited professional certificates from Unity at the conclusion of the bootcamp. Dr. Manal Al-Ouhali, Dean of the College of Computer and Information Sciences at Princess Nourah University, stated that the bootcamp offers a distinguished educational experience that fosters creativity among students and reflects the college’s vision for empowering them with future-ready skills. Meanwhile, Ms. Wafa Al-Zahrani, Director of the Innovation Center at the College of Computer and Information Sciences, emphasized that the organization of this bootcamp is part of a series of annual programs offered by the center in response to the increasing demand from students, and in an effort to provide a motivating environment that enriches their experiences, supports their technical ambitions, and enhances their competitiveness in the job market.
