Since its establishment in 1399 AH, The Arabic Language Department has been fulfilling its responsibilities towards teaching the Arabic language in its various sciences. The department recognizes the close connection between the Arabic language and the Islamic identity, as well as the cultural and civilizational heritage of our beloved country. The department has been keen to attract the best competencies and incorporate prominent educational experiences to deliver the Arabic language and its sciences with high quality, keeping pace with the developments in teaching methods and technologies. The department has been, and continues to be, a partner in development plans with thousands of graduates who have gained distinguished academic and leadership experiences, enabling them to serve the nation. The department remains committed to its mission of developing its curricula and educational programs to prepare its students scientifically and skilfully according to the highest standards. It aims to engage them in all activities that contribute to achieving nation’s goals. The department has initiated its plan for a master's program based on its scientific competencies and ambitious vision to achieve the goals of national transformation.
