About The Academic Program

The Social Work Department provides a bachelor’s degree in social work to equip students with theoretical knowledge and professional skills for practicing social work. The goal is to prepare socially competent professionals who can effectively deal with social issues and adapt to societal changes, remaining competitive in the job market. The department emphasizes connecting research knowledge in social work with societal issues by utilizing social research to serve community issues. It actively engages in partnerships with community institutions in advisory, teaching, and volunteer fields. The department focuses on preparing graduates for the job market by offering career guidance, professional advice, and developing field training to meet the demands of the job market. Nature and Goals of the Program

The program aims to prepare students to work as social workers capable of providing a high level of therapeutic and rehabilitative social care. Students are able to address problems and issues affecting individuals, groups, and institutions as well as provide solutions. The goal is to empower the students to fulfill the positive needs of individuals and communities, enabling active participation in their community development and the realization of their aspirations.
