The College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences achieves the first places in the Fourth International Conference on Physical Therapy

   

The students of the College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University  achieved the first places in the "Fourth International Conference on Physical Therapy",which was organized by the Saudi Physical Therapy Association under the patronage of the Governor of Riyadh Region, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, toenhance the Kingdom's position globally in the health field in general, and physiotherapy in particular.

 The conference was won by the college students within the Department of  Physiotherapy with the awards for the best presentation and the best scientific poster at the conference, whichwitnessed a wide competition between specialists from faculty members from universities, educational institutions and practitioners from different regionsof Saudi Arabia, and the conference lasted for three days from 28 to 30 November 2024, which was held at the JW Marriott Hotel.

   The first team in the presentations track won second place by students Rima Al-Mudaifer, Rima Al-HusaynJ, Manar Al-Feki, Shumukh Al-Saeedan, Najd Zain Al-Din, and Hanan Al-Saeed, a research entitled "Musculoskeletal Pain Among Gamers in Saudi Arabia: A Prevalent Challenge That Surprisingly Does Not Disturb Gaming Immersion", under the supervision of Dr. Samia Al-Qabbani.

  The second team in the scientific posters track won the second place with the work of the students: Rahaf Al-Sharif, Sarah Al-Subaie,Najd Al-Khashiban, andNajd Al-Salem, a research entitled, "Lifestyle Medicine and Diabetes Treatment Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice of Allied Medical Professionals ", under the supervision of Dr. Shaima Al-Othman.

   The participation of the College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences in the conference comes as part of its contribution to achieving the strategic objectives of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University 2025 by building bridges of communication with the local and global community and leading knowledge and societal impact.​
