1.Second Place in the Fourth Industrial Revolution Awareness Hackathon - Energy Track

Graduates of the Electrical Engineering Department for the year 1445 AH, Engineer Sara Al-Salman and Engineer Rima Al-Tuwaijri, achieved second place in the Fourth Industrial Revolution Awareness Hackathon - Energy Track, organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Ministry of Industry, and the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program.

2.First and Second Place in the Summer Training Program Graduation Ceremony

Students from the Electrical Engineering Department participated in the Summer Training Program Graduation Ceremony organized by Nokia in collaboration with UN Women and coordinated with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. The students achieved first and second place, with Manar Al-Qahtani, Al-Jawzaa Al-Dosari, and Reham Al-Mazroa winning first place, while Ghada Al-Munee, Sama Al-Arfaj, and Shahad Al-Hadithi secured second place.

3.First Place in the Fourth Industrial Revolution Awareness Hackathon - Energy Track

The students of the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, Taraf Bin Ghali and Dareen Al-Suhaibani, achieved first place in the Hackathon to raise awareness of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in the energy track, which was organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Ministry of Industry, and the National Industrial Development and Logistics Programme. The team consisted of 7 students, 3 from Princess Noura bint Abdul Rahman University.

4.Judges Award in the third session of the Saudi Games

The third session of the Saudi Games competition was held in the robotics category on Wednesday and Thursday, October 16-17, 2024, at Boulevard City, where a number of students from the College of Engineering were nominated by the Sports Affairs Department at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, who won the Judges Award in tenth place. The students are:

(Aseel Al-Baridi / Lian Al-Sultan / Najoud Al-Shalawi / Taif Al-Ramah / Buthaina Al-Dosari / Abeer Al-Ammar / Noura Al-Saab / Dalia Masawi / Rama Al-Zaidi / Joud Al-Zamel)

The students were distinguished by their wonderful performance and demonstrated high capabilities in planning and strategy, which caught the attention of the jury.This competition is part of a series of events aimed at promoting a culture of innovation and supporting emerging talents in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

5.Engineering College Student Wins Best Consulting Project Competition

Student Reem bint Musaed Al-Dayem from the College of Engineering at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University has achieved an accomplishment by winning the Best Consulting Project Award within the Leaders Bridges Program, which is one of the most prominent programs of the Tuwaiq Initiative for Leadership Qualification.
Her consulting project, Global Guidance Consultancy, was distinguished by its ability to provide innovative and effective solutions in the field of global consulting, which qualified her to win first place in the competition, amid strong competition between many pioneering projects. It is worth noting that the Tuwaiq Initiative for Leadership Qualification aims to support and empower young national competencies through qualitative programs that enhance their capabilities and qualify them to be future leaders.​

6.Holding a symposium on robotics technology and systems at Princess Nourah University

The Control Club for Robotics and Wireless Sports at the College of Engineering at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University held its first symposium under the #Technology_Series entitled "Robotics Technology and Systems" on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at the (Research Center) at the university, presented by mechatronics engineer and robotics expert Muhammad Al-Tala.
The symposium addressed the latest developments in robotics technologies, including artificial intelligence systems, industrial applications, and the technical challenges facing the development of these systems. The discussion sessions witnessed the participation of a group of prominent speakers, including His Excellency Eng. Ibrahim Al-Muhaisen, Director of the Electric Chargers Department at the Saudi Electricity Company, and His Excellency Dr. Yazan Alawi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University.
 The symposium also included interactive workshops on robot design and programming, in which students and participants participated, with the aim of enhancing practical skills and transferring modern technical knowledge.​

7.Winning in the International Research Competition

Five students from the College of Engineering (Department of Electrical Engineering) at Princess Nourah University, under the supervision of Dr. Yazan Alawi, won first place in the international research competition within the activities of the "Second International Forum for Non-Terrestrial Networks", which was organized by the Communications and Information Technology System represented by the Communications and Space Technology Commission in cooperation with the International Telecommunication Union (ITO) under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah Al-Sawaha.
The competition witnessed strong competition with the participation of 90 research teams from 30 countries, and the winners were honored by His Excellency the Governor of the Communications and Space Technology Commission, Dr. Mohammed Al-Tamimi, in the presence of senior officials, experts and specialists from around the world.​
