Registration for SSAS Membership, conditions and procedures:

 
Membership has several types:
 Active membership: 
Its conditions are:
(‌A) The applicant must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university or its equivalent in the field of specialization of SSAS.
(‌B) Pay the annual subscription of SAR 200.
(‌C) The conditions deemed necessary by the Association Board of Directors.
(‌D) That a decision be issued by the Association Board of Directors​ to accept the applicant.
 
 
 Honorary membership:
Granted by decision of the General Assembly to those who contributed to the development of the areas of interest of SSAS, or provided financial or moral services for a period of three years, renewed once, and the member of honor is exempt from the condition of payment of participation, and may attend the sessions of the General Assembly and its various committees and participate in the discussions, and has the right to vote.
 Membership of affiliation:
I- Granted to:
 (‌A) Students studying a bachelor's degree or equivalent in the field of specialization of SSAS.
 ‌B) Employees and anyone interested in the field of SSAS who do not meet the specific scientific qualification requirement for active membership and the affiliated member is exempted from 80% of the value of the annual subscription.
 
 
Sponsorship membership:
Legal persons (such as institutions and companies) may apply to join the Scientific Association if they work in the field of SSAS activity, provided that the subscription value is paid in full, and the representative of the legal person may attend meetings and  various committees of SSAS and participate in the discussions without having the right to vote.
* The sponsor will adopt the project or participate therein and SSAS will handle advertising and announce the sponsor during the project in accordance with the percentage of their sponsorship. These entities are granted the sponsorship membership in accordance with an agreement with the SSAS’s Association Board of Directors in exchange for financial support to SSAS, these entities benefit from SSAS activities and advertising through it and in the SSAS at certain discount rates determined in the agreement with SSAS’s Association Board of Directors.​
SSAS Honorary President:
The General Assembly, based on a proposal from the Association Board of Directors, may nominate an Honorary President for the scientific association from among prominent individuals known for their interest in the association's areas of work. This nomination is for a term of three years, which can be renewed by a decision from the University Council. The Honorary President will preside over the sessions they attend.
 
Members Responsibilities:
Once a member's application is accepted, they shall sign the membership register, which includes their name, address, and email. Members shall fulfill all obligations outlined in the regulations governing scientific associations and the bylaws of each association. Members are also required to pay the annual subscription fee.
 
Benefits for "Active and Affiliate Members":
* Free subscription to SSAS's annual publications. -An annual meeting with the Chairman of the Association Board of Directors and other board members.
The right for specialists to vote in the election of the Association Board of Directors.
Priority in early registration for SSAS's programs and courses.
- Inclusion in SSAS's members database and receipt of updates about SSAS's programs and events.
 

 Bronze Membership:

Fees: 700 SAR
Benefits:
1. One free course from those offered by SSAS.
2. 5% discount on all SSAS programs and courses.
 

Silver Membership:

Fees: 900 SAR
Benefits:
1. One free course from those offered by SSAS.
2. 10% discount on all SSAS programs and courses.
 

Gold Membership:

Fees: 2000 SAR
Benefits:
1. Two free courses from those offered by SSAS.
2. 15% discount on all SSAS programs and courses.
 

 Diamond Membership:

Fees: 4000 SAR
Benefits:
1. Two free courses from those offered by SSAS.
2. 20% discount on all SSAS programs and courses.
 

Termination of Membership:

SSAS membership may end in the following cases:
1. Member withdrawal or death.
2. Failure to pay the annual subscription fee after one year from its due date.
3. Loss of any membership eligibility criterion.
4. Engagement in any action or activity that causes material or moral harm to SSAS; in this case, membership will only be revoked with the approval of the Association Board of Directors.
​5.  A ruling against the member for a legal penalty or imprisonment for a crime involving dishonor or trustworthiness, unless five years have passed since the penalty or imprisonment.
6. Dismissal from public service for disciplinary reasons, unless five years have passed since the dismissal.
 

Reinstatement of Membership:

  The Association Board of Directors​ may reinstate a member who has lost their membership, upon the member's request, if the reasons for the previous termination have been resolved.
