    Managing:

    • Supervising the associated departments and coordinating between them in a way that ensures integration between their activities and maximum utilization of the available capabilities.
    • Overseeing the provision of technical support in the field of computers for all departments of the university and solving all the problems they face in this regard

    Supervising:

    • ​Overseeing the development of the university's technical systems and applications, managing them, and ensuring their maintenance to improve work flow and accomplish tasks in the best possible manner.
    • Overseeing the maintenance and operation of the systems, programs, and databases according to their maintenance schedules.

    Determining the Needs:

    Overseeing the qualification, training, and selection of the human resources necessary to work in the Information Technology Management.
    ​

    Coordinating:

    Planning the development and operation of the local and external communication network, and providing a wide communication network to connect the university with its affiliated colleges, as well as coordinating with the relevant authorities.

    Following-up:

    Studying and following up on any developments in the fields of computer hardware, software, and information technology, and recommending the appropriate acquisition and use thereof."

    Providing Suggestions:

    • Providing the necessary suggestions to modify or develop the systems, regulations, instructions, decisions, and administrative procedures related to the activity of the administration, in accordance with the needs of work and emerging changes.
    • Providing opinion, advice, and assistance to all departments in the university and its affiliated colleges in matters related to information technology
