Main Tasks

• Managing and designing database systems and distributing them on servers based on best practices in this field.
  
• Monitoring with relevant parties to ensure backup of databases and their availability, and selecting them periodically to verify their effectiveness and recover copies when needed.
  
• Monitoring with relevant parties in preparing disaster recovery plans.
  
• Building databases for new systems or modifying databases when modifying any system, based on best practices in this field, and on different environments ((Testing, Staging, Live ... etc.
  
• Following the approved standards at the university for building databases, and assisting in developing these standards.
  
• Building database diagrams (ERD) for new and old databases, and making modifications to them every time the database is modified.
  
• Preparing the necessary reports periodically, or upon request.
  
• Raising improvement plans and following up on their implementation.
  
• Cooperating and coordinating with relevant parties to provide the service in the best possible way.​
