Deanship of Student Affairs Activates International Students Day
On November 19-20, the Deanship of Student Affairs is holding the International Students Day under the name "Across The Border" in the clock tower square at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, coinciding with the International International StudentsDay, corresponding to November 17 of each year, as this day is an opportunity to appreciate the efforts of international students who contribute to enriching the educational experiences in universities around the world, and to highlight the importance of higher education as a means to enhance mutual understanding and build more inclusive, aware and connected societies.
The event includes interactive pavilions, tasting areas around the world, and live performances that tell the heritage and cultures of the peoples of (25) countries around the world.
It is worth noting that (962) students from more than (60) countries from different countries of the world receive science and knowledge under the auspices of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, as this event aims to enhance cultural awareness among university students by learning about the cultures of different peoples on this day, and seeking to achieve coexistence between peoples and understanding the difference in their cultures, and promote the integration of international students with the university community and strive to achieve diversity and understanding of difference, as well as The exchange of experiences and knowledge, the promotion of international cooperation, the highlighting of common global issues and the promotion of peace and tolerance among peoples are among the most prominent goals.
Participation in this day and its activation comes as part of the university's endeavors to enhance educational experiences and improve educational conditions for students from all over the world, and emphasizes that education is a right for all, and that the community's investment in international education promotes peace and sustainable development at the global level, in line with the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030, which pays great attention to promoting higher education and attracting international students to the Kingdom as part of a comprehensive development strategy aimed at improving the quality of education and promoting cultural exchange.
