On Monday, October 20, 2025, Sara Al-Sudairi Center for Women's Studies at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University organized an initiative to raise awareness about breast cancer at the center's headquarters under the slogan "Early is good". The initiative to raise awareness of the importance of early detection of breast cancer, with the aim of raising awareness among women about the importance of early screening and its role in increasing the chances of recovery, in addition to providing a supportive environment for women to learn about the necessary preventive steps in a stimulating and attractive way. The activities included directives, brochures, and distributions with tips on how to conduct a self-examination, and the importance of periodic follow-up with doctors, as this initiative came to help reduce the rates of late infections and enhance health awareness among the community. The initiative comes as part of the efforts of the Sara Al-Sudairi Center for Women's Studies to support women's health and emphasize the role of early detection in the prevention of breast cancer, which is one of the most prevalent cancers among women, and in line with the objectives of the Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University's strategic plan 2025, which aims to provide a supportive university environment for health and well-being, enrich the educational experience, and enhance knowledge and societal impact.
