Students will develop an insight to take important decisions related to retailing. The course will give them an understanding of effective methods and strategies required for retail and its planning. The main objective of this course is to help students understand the nature, scope, complexities and process of defining a business and research question. The learning focus is on developing business research skills, so as to facilitate managerial decision making. The course aims to equip students with the key concepts and methods of marketing research, and allow student to understand how to apply those tools to solve real-life business problems.

Participants are expected to appreciate importance of integrated marketing communications as used in various organizations. Purpose is to equip participants to develop a basic integrated marketing communications plan for target markets and use of the marketing communications mix by understanding the principles and practices of marketing communications planning, involving tools used by marketers to inform consumers and to provide a managerial framework.
