Dr. Kaouther Ghacham is a distinguished academic and researcher, currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Her academic journey is marked by excellence, beginning with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Industrial Energy Systems Engineering from the College of Engineering of Monastir, Tunisia, and culminating in a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the College of Engineering of Tunis, where she was honored with "Distinguished Honors." With a profound commitment to education, Dr. Ghacham's career encompasses over 18 years of teaching experience across several esteemed Tunisian universities such as the Higher Institute of Technology and Applied Science, College of Engineering of Bizerte, College of Engineering of Monastir, and the Faculty of Science of Bizerte, among others. Her administrative acumen is evident through her significant roles at Princess Nourah University, including serving as a Member of the Advisory Board for Faculty Members, Council Secretary of the ISE Department, and Director of the Data and Measurement Administration. She has also held key positions like the Quality Assurance Director and Assistant to the Vice Dean of Educational Affairs, showcasing her versatility and leadership in academic administration. Dr. Ghacham's professional influence extends beyond teaching and administration. She is actively engaged in enriching student experience and fostering academic excellence, serving as the Head of the Examination Unit, Training Unit, and the IEOM Student Chapter, as well as being a member of various committees within the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department. Her tenure in Tunisia was equally impactful, where she was instrumental in strategic planning for departments and institutes, chairing national committees for teaching equipment, and contributing to the establishment of the IEAQA accreditation requirements for bachelor programs. " Dr. Ghacham's scholarly contributions are substantial, with over 90 published papers, 17 conference presentations, and 2 local patents, alongside a significant citation index that highlights the impact and relevance of her research. Her proficiency in multiple languages, coupled with her expertise in areas such as Optimization, Thermal and Solar Energy, Energy Systems, and Simulation, is complemented by her command over an array of software and computer platforms, illustrating a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. In recognition of her commitment to quality and excellence, Dr. Ghacham has earned certifications in ISO 50001, ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and actually as an Auditor NCAAA.
