This course gives the students an overview of the theoretical aspect of translation. It covers translation theories, methods, approaches and strategies. Besides, it compares between English and Arabic in different aspects. It also consists of a practical part which trains the students on basics in translation so they apply the knowledge they have acquire. The assessment is mainly based on written exams, assignments, class exercises and participation.
