This course demonstrates the basics of classful addressing, classless addressing, subnetting and NAT operation; Delivery and routing of IP packets; Address resolution: ARP, RARP, BOOTP and DHCP; IP protocol (IPv4 & IPv6); Network troubleshooting: ICMP; Network design and performance; User datagram protocol (UDP); Transmission control protocol (TCP); Routing protocols: RIP, OSPF and BGP; Application layer protocols DNS and FTP.
