In this course, the students will learn the basic concepts and methods of bioinformatics.
Bioinformatics is a link between biology and computer science where students can use
computers to interpret and analyze vital information. This course reviews a wide range of
topics including sequence analysis of the genome, the search for similarities and differences in
genome sequences, gene finding and analysis of protein structure.
