Family Education Center

Based on the mission of Princess Nourah University to strengthen its role in activating the National Transformation Plan 2030, which the University considers a qualitative breakthrough towards a bright kingdom, and an initiative from its part to activate the community partnership, a partnership agreement has been signed between College of Social Work and Family Education Center at Family Association. This partnership aims to provide specialized and distinctive programs according to scientific and professional bases for the individual and the family in the psychological and social fields to achieve the desired vision.

 

The College of Social Work has inaugurated the Family Education Center in partnership with the Family Association on Sunday 2/1/1441 AH. The Center serves all students of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University.

 

The Dean of College of Social Work, Dr. Jihan bint Saleh Laradi, said that the Center is considered a pioneering step in the care of university's students to qualify them to be able to take decisions. As well as meeting the requirements of this age, and contributing to the realization of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 by building a vibrant society based on a straight family.

 

The Vice-Dean for Students Affairs, Dr. Huda bint Abdulaziz Al-Dughairi, talked about the services of the center, where it offers the university's students training courses, dialogue sessions and a program specialized for those preparing for marriage. As well as focusing on providing consultations in several areas, among the most important of which are family and marital life, as the student is an active member in building her family. She pointed out that the participants in the center are a group of experts specialized in several fields in Islamic studies, psychology and social work. She also indicated that the role of the center is not limited to individual programs such as guidance sessions or specific training courses, but also provides public awareness programs through a number of activities (lectures, seminars, publications, contests, hosting, and text messages).

 

In conclusion, the Dean of the College, Dr. Jihan Lardi, thanked Director General of the Family Education Center, Dr. Mohammed Al-Seif and the Supervisor of the Center, Mr. Abdul Rahman Al-Omairi for facilitating the procedures and ease of communication. She also thanked Dr. Huda Al-Dughairi and Ms. Reem Al-Ghamdi, Montalaq Al-Tatour Foundation, Mr. Mohammed Al-Dosari for the supervision and follow-up, design and accuracy in performance, wishing the Center continued success and giving.
