Arabic Language Diploma

An intensive program to teach Arabic to non-native speakers, in order to qualify the student linguistically so that she can study in Arab universities. After completing the program, the student obtains a diploma in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers

  • Academic degrees awarded by the program:

    Diploma in the Arabic language for non-native speakers

    Study system:

    The study system in the diploma program is based on a number of semesters.

    A number of academic levels and their duration:

    Four levels each level represents a semester.

    The total number of credit hours required to complete the program:

    60 credits, 15 credits per semester

    Internal Scholarship System:

    Applicants applying to the internal scholarship system are subject to the admission requirements applicable to Saudis in higher education institutions, in addition to the following conditions:

    ⦁ The applicant's age should not be less than (17) years and not more than (25) years for the undergraduate and diploma levels of the Institute for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers.

    ⦁ The applicant must have a general secondary certificate or its equivalent from inside or outside the Kingdom.

    ⦁ The applicant should not have obtained another scholarship from an educational institution in the Kingdom.

    ⦁ She should not have a previous record at Princess Noura bint Abdulrahman University.

    ⦁ Not more than five years have passed since she obtained her high school certificate.

    ⦁ The applicant must pass the medical examination determined by the regulations and instructions, and be medically fit.

    ⦁ The applicant should not have been dismissed from one of the educational institutions in the Kingdom.

    ⦁ The applicant must hold a valid residence permit.

    ⦁ To meet any conditions set by the University Council and announced at the time of submission.​

  • External scholarship system:
    Applicants applying to the external scholarship system are subject to the admission requirements applicable to Saudi students in higher education institutions, in addition to the following conditions:
    ⦁ The age of the applicant should not be less than (17) years and not more than (25) years for the undergraduate and diploma levels of the Institute for Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers.
    ⦁ The applicant should have a general secondary certificate or its equivalent.
    ⦁ The applicant should not have obtained another scholarship from an educational institution in the Kingdom.
    ⦁ She should not have a previous record at Princess Noura bint Abdulrahman University.

    ⦁ The applicant should not have been dismissed from one of the educational institutions in the Kingdom.
    ⦁ To meet any conditions set by the University Council and announced at the time of submission.
    ⦁ That the government of the applicant's country agrees to study in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for countries that require Saudi students to do so.
    ⦁ The secondary certificate must be attested by the Saudi Cultural Attaché in the country of issuance of the certificate.
    ⦁ The applicant should bring a certificate of absence from the security services in her country.
