1-The Saudi Scientific Association for Islamic Studies:

About the Saudi Scientific Association for Islamic Studies:

In an effort to contribute to the development of research methodologies and scientific studies, intellectual, and cultural cognitive studies, and the rooting of serious scientific research, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University took the initiative to establish the "Saudi Scientific Association for Islamic Studies "AlHusna" to be a qualitative scientific and research beacon that contributes to enriching scientific and knowledge research processes in the fields of Islamic sciences and their various life branches, and other related sciences.

Based on the vision of the KSA 2030, and its interest in the educational approach in its various scientific and academic institutions, the establishment of the "Saudi Scientific Association for Islamic Studies" "AlHusna" came with decision No. (32706), as it began its activity in 1436 H, in order for its productions and contributions to constitute a distinct and unique scientific addition in the field of studies and research Islamic.

It is hoped that the Association will have a prominent role and an imprint through its studies, research, initiatives, programs, and various and varied activities, a qualitative contribution to the service of religion, scientific research, and knowledge in terms of the quantity, quality and various fields of production to enhance the Arab and Islamic scientific library and thus the world, enriching it with various studies and researches, books and publications, and scientific and research-cognitive productions.

Speech of the President of the Association:

Praise be to Allah the Lord of the worlds and may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon the most honored of messengers our master Muhammad and upon all his family and companion. It enlightens us to establish this association (Saudi Scientific Association for Islamic Studies) to advocate our religion, to enforce our country's curriculum, and to join our country in its path to glory under our king's leadership and sponsorship, King Salam may Allah be with him. To walk with our prestigious University, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University side by side and to translate the lofty goals of the ambitious national vision. And to be our country's partner in achieving sustainable development goals.

The existence of institutions that are concerned with intellectual affairs and its issues and is linked to the tolerant Islamic values and the considerable legal constants is important in this time of life where it is fueled by ideas and colliding trends. The participation in these institutions to activate their role has become a necessary procedure. Especially since the building, advancement and continuation of the civilizations of nations depends first and foremost on those who abide by their principles and respect their sanctities and preserves it.

From this inclusive approach, the idea of the Saudi Scientific Association for Islamic Studies was launched under the umbrella of our prestigious University, Princess Noura bint Abdulrahman University, and it received official approval from the Ministry of Higher Education in 1435/1436 H, therefore it became the first academic women's scientific association in our beloved country under the abbreviated name (Al-Husna)

AlHusna has its Islamic and Arabic meanings, which are associated with monotheism ... piety ... and moderation ... and beauty of the soul, tranquility of the heart and purity of orientation, as well as its influential meanings appeared in a verse in the Qur'an “Allah's mercy is always close to the good-doers" the road that is connected to Allah Almighty's mercy is benevolence. The highest rank of worship is benevolence. As Almighty said “And do good, for Allah certainly loves the good-doers", “and give good news to the good-doers", “Those who do good will have the finest reward and ˹even˺ more".

The Association sought in its strategic basic plan a qualitative leap in the scientific and intellectual fields. By focusing on new approaches in projects and initiatives, creating original programs, adopting projects that services the women's share, satisfy the youth, providing studies and specialized qualitative consultations and interest in scientific intraregional research. And to make its project high quality, precedent and pioneering. And in accordance to it, the association will work on a new concept of associations as we in the Al-Husna Association have gone beyond being just a scientific association affiliated with academic departments. We aspire to be a national scientific association and an important tributary of the scientific cultural renaissance for knowledge enrichment, social responsibility and sustainable development.

What makes Al-Hosna Association different:

1- It collects more than one religious major, including (the Qur'an, hadith, biography, belief, advocacy and jurisprudence).

2- The Association is characterized by being the only Association that collects these majors, because the rules regulating societies stipulate that it is not permissible to repeat an association with one specialization in the universities of the Kingdom.

3- What is special about our Association is that it took a bold step when it decided that all members of the board of directors should be a female cadre. After the presence of women in these associations was limited to organizing meetings and working through committees. Then the situation developed and women participated in the administrative councils in a small percentage. Al Husna Association decided That the board of directors will be 100% female. Thus, it became the first scientific women's association in our dear kingdom.

Lastly, the success of any association or any scientific institution and the rise of its level is considered a national gain. The association raises its voice calling that anyone who has the capacity for scientific, material and moral giving should contribute to this blessed association. This association is from you, one of you and for you.

I thank all of you who worked and supported this association but first and foremost the members of the board of Directors, consultants and cooperators. May Allah help us and guide us to success.
